Mipa 1K UV Primer Spray

Mipa 1K UV Primer Spray is a new top product.   The primer dries very quickly, dry with UV light or sunlight (but do not paint in direct sunlight!)

ATTENTION!   The UV primer is not fully covering. Do not paint thick layers to cover, then there is a risk that it will come off when drying.

Poorly covering surface colors, car colors may need extra primer, e.g. red and white   metallic . These may need a more covering foundation, base in just white or red. Acrylic paints cover well enough and do not need an extra covering base, primer before painting.

The product is ready to use, it does not need thinning or hardener.

The UV primer adheres excellently to steel, galvanized, iron and aluminium. Also works excellently on plastics without the need for another fixing primer. Plastics of ABS, PU, ​​PVC, PC and PS.

The base color   has a VOC of only 190g/l.

• Drying time: UV light approx. 4-5 min (Drying time depends on how efficient the UV lamp is and how large an area it covers.
• UV light distance: 20 - 30 cm
• Sufficient for approx. 7-8 m²/l

• Number of layers: 1-2,   avoid applying thick layers! The base color is not full coverage, you can see patches underneath. Poorly covering surface colours, car colors such as yellow, red or white metallic. These may need a base, or other foundation to cover the repairs underneath.
• Nozzle size: 1.0 - 1.2mm
• Air pressure when painting: 1.6 - 2 bar.
• The base color must be sanded before painting.
• UV light sold separately.
• Do not use 1K putty under the UV primer.
