Clearcoat
That's exactly how it is! Once you have applied the metallic or pearl base coat and it has dried to a matte finish, it is important to apply 2k clear coat to protect the surface and give it a glossy finish. The clear coat will make the surface more resistant to scratches and other damage.
Hardener
On the side of the clear coat , the acrylic paint, there are instructions on how much hardener should be used.
Thinner
