Metallic and Pearl - base color

When painting a car, we usually use two types of paint: either 2k acrylic paint for solid colors or metallic/pearl base paint for colors with metallic or pearl shimmer. The choice depends on which effect and color is desired. The metallic or pearl base color must always be covered with clear coat to provide a protective and glossy finish.
