When painting the car, it is important to mix the car paint properly to avoid mixers that may have collected on the bottom or walls of the can. It is also important to check the shade of the paint and match it to the car's existing color when repainting. In this way, you get as good a match as possible and a nice result with car paint.

When painting with Flakes, you can choose to mix them into either 1k or 2k clear coat. Take a look at our range of paint products to find the right product for your particular project.

Metallic and Pearl lacquer

Metallic paint on the car gives a lovely shine and luster, but to protect the surface and make it shiny it always needs to be covered with a clear coat. The clear coat provides a protective layer and gives the paint a nice and even surface. We have a wide range of high-quality clearcoats in our webshop that you can use to get the best result on your car.

Clearcoat

On metallic base paint, you always need to add 2k clear coat to get a protective and glossy surface. After you have sprayed on the metallic or pearl base color and allowed it to dry to a matte finish, you can apply the clear coat. It is important that the first layer of clear coat is thin and even so that there are no bubbles or drip marks. After the first layer has dried, you can apply a second layer to get an even better protective surface.

Candy | Flakes

If you are going to paint your car or motorcycle and want a really cool effect, we recommend that you try using candy, flakes or cameleon colors. With these effects, you can go the extra mile and really stand out from the crowd. Candy provides a transparent color with a deep and glossy finish, while flakes provide a shimmer or glitter effect on the surface. Cameleon colors have a color-shifting effect that shifts in different shades depending on the light and viewing angle. Why have an ordinary varnish when you can do it a little extra and create a unique look? Take a look at our assortment of candy, flakes and cameleon colors and find your favorite.
